  • Design scalable org structures, role architectures, and workforce models
  • Establish an HR operating model with clear shared services
  • Architect a high‑throughput recruiting: drive time‑to‑offer and time‑to‑start improvements; reduce cost per hire; improve quality of hire through structured selection, skills assessments, and realistic job previews.

  • Own the HR technology roadmap (e.g., HRIS/Workday/UKG/SuccessFactors), ATS, LMS, and workforce management tools; drive data integrity and self‑service.
  • Build an analytics capability and dashboarding for executive and PE board reporting: retention, turnover, TRIR/DART, hiring velocity, internal mobility, diversity representation, cost of labor, and productivity indicators.
  • Establish HR shared services for consistent, scalable processes (onboarding, I‑9, E‑Verify, employee files, leave management, employee helpdesk/Case management).
  • Ensure compliance across federal and multi‑state employment laws (EEOC, FMLA, ADA, wage & hour, background checks), and industry requirements (OSHA, DOT, drug/alcohol testing, fit‑for‑duty).
  • Manage union and non‑union environments as applicable; maintain productive relationships, negotiate agreements when required, and uphold standards.
  • Lead people due diligence in acquisitions; assess org health, leadership talent, compensation/benefits, policies, and cultural alignment.
  • Execute 100‑day integration plans (systems, org structures, harmonized policies/benefits, change management).

Qualification & Requirements

  • 15+ years progressive HR leadership; 8+ years leading enterprise HR in multi‑site, field‑intensive, safety‑critical industries (utilities, infrastructure, construction, vegetation management, energy, logistics). PE‑backed portfolio experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven success supporting 5,000+ employees across multiple states; union and non‑union environments.
  • Bachelor’s required; Master’s in HR/Business/Org Development preferred.
