Description

This is a newly created senior leadership role responsible for defining and delivering the APAC technology strategy across a complex, multi-site manufacturing environment. Reporting to a US-based Senior Vice President of Technology and operating within a global shared services framework, the role partners closely with executive leaders across operations, finance and supply chain. The position operates within a matrix structure, requiring strong influence, political acumen and commercial judgement. This is not a hands-on technical role. It is a strategic transformation leadership position with responsibility for enterprise platforms, governance, vendor strategy and post-acquisition integration.

IT Director

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute a 5-year APAC technology roadmap aligned to global standards and business growth objectives
  • Act as a trusted advisor to regional leadership on technology investment, risk, and value creation
  • Lead CapEx and OpEx planning with a strong focus on scalability, efficiency and return on investment

Enterprise Transformation

  • Lead large-scale ERP transformation, including migration from legacy platforms to Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Drive technology integration across M&A activity, ensuring consistency without disrupting manufacturing and supply chain operations
  • Oversee enterprise initiatives across cloud platforms, data, AI enablement (including Microsoft Copilot) and operational technology

Governance, PMO & Vendor Strategy

  • Establish and embed strong IT governance, cybersecurity and PMO disciplines across APAC
  • Lead strategic evaluation of outsourced versus in-house delivery models
  • Manage key technology partners to ensure service performance, cost transparency and alignment to business priorities

Business Partnership

  • Partner with senior leaders across FMCG manufacturing and supply chain to enable growth, margin improvement and operational excellence
  • Balance global technology standards with local operational realities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Qualification & Requirements

You are a senior technology leader with a track record of delivering enterprise-scale transformation in FMCG, manufacturing or supply-chain-led organisations.

You will bring:

  • Proven experience leading large-scale ERP implementations (Dynamics 365 highly desirable)
  • Strong exposure to post-acquisition integration and standardisation programs
  • Commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to engage credibly with executive stakeholders
  • Deep experience in vendor management, governance and complex delivery environments
  • The leadership presence to operate effectively within a global, matrix organisation

Benefits

  • Newly created position with a clear mandate to lead growth-driven transformation
  • Significant enterprise investment in technology and standardisation
  • High visibility role working with global leadership
  • Opportunity to shape long-term technology strategy during a period of accelerated growth
