Shared Services Payroll Lead (APAC)

Key Responsibilities

As Shared Services Payroll Lead (APAC), you’ll take full ownership of payroll operations as a sole contributor, managing end-to-end payroll delivery for multiple regions. This includes handling manufacturing workforce payroll, ensuring compliance, and maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment. You’ll collaborate with HR, Finance, and external vendors to maintain seamless operations and uphold data security standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing full payroll cycles and vendor relationships
  • Operational payroll management under SSC model
  • Ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies
  • Preparing audit-ready reports and maintaining payroll systems
  • Driving process improvements and operational efficiency
  • Supporting knowledge transfer and setting up payroll shared services processes

Qualification & Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in payroll processing and vendor management
  • Fluent in Mandarin and able to communicate effectively with China-based stakeholders
  • Experience handling manufacturing workforce payroll
  • Proven track record in Shared Services Center (SSC) payroll delivery
  • Vendor management experience (such as ADP, and other vendors)
  • Experience in knowledge transfer and SSC setup is a strong advantage
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Accounting, or related field
  • Experience with Workday or similar HRIS systems
