Description

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to drive process efficiency, standardization, and continuous improvement across Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and Cash functions within a shared services / COE environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end AP, AR, GL, and Cash operations ensuring timely, accurate processing and high-quality service delivery.
  • Drive process optimization, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement aligned with business growth and operational efficiency.
  • Set clear objectives, forecast resource needs, and monitor performance using KPIs and management dashboards.
  • Oversee monthly and annual close, journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, prepaids, intercompany transactions, and financial integrity.
  • Manage AR billing, collections, aging, dispute resolution, and key metrics such as DSO and collection efficiency.
  • Ensure strong internal controls, compliance with policies, procedures, and applicable accounting regulations.
  • Develop, maintain, and enforce SOPs; identify process gaps and implement best practices.
  • Act as the primary finance contact for senior leadership and key business stakeholders.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a 15+ member team across AP/AR/GL, including performance management, training, and career development.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration with procurement, operations, HR, and IT.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance; CA/CMA/CPA preferred.
  • 10+ years’ experience across AP, AR, and GL, with 4+ years in a leadership role.
  • Strong ERP knowledge (Oracle Fusion preferred) and accounting/compliance expertise.
  • Experience in shipping, logistics, or asset-intensive environments is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and process improvement skills.
