Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager in Performance & Total Rewards to join our Total Rewards team in Morocco. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing performance management systems, coupled with expertise in compensation and benefits management. This role involves developing and maintaining performance appraisal frameworks, aligning performance goals with organizational objectives, and managing comprehensive total rewards programs. The manager will work closely with employees, HR partners, and senior leadership to ensure our performance management, compensation, and benefits packages are competitive, compliant, and aligned with the organization’s strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Performance Management

  • Design, implement, and oversee effective performance management frameworks.
  • Facilitate goal-setting, performance appraisals, and continuous feedback cycles in collaboration with HRBPs and leadership team.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to foster a performance-driven culture.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of performance management initiatives, making recommendations for continuous improvement.

Compensation Management

  • Analyze market trends and conduct compensation benchmarking to ensure the organization’s salary structure remains competitive.
  • Administer and manage the annual salary review process, including quarterly and monthly compensation interventions, ensuring fairness and consistency.
  • Develop and implement variable pay and incentive programs, including long-term incentive plans, to motivate employees.
  • Provide guidance to HR and managers on job evaluations, salary negotiations, and reward strategies.

Benefits Administration

  • Oversee the design, communication, and administration of employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
  • Stay updated on legislative changes and ensure compliance with local regulations.
  • Collaborate with benefits vendors and brokers to negotiate competitive offerings.
  • Address employee inquiries related to benefits and facilitate open enrollment processes.

Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Utilize data analytics tools to analyze compensation, benefits, and performance data, providing insights for decision-making.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management on key metrics, trends, and cost analysis.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support HR and business initiatives.

Compliance and Policy Development

  • Ensure compliance with local, regional, and national regulations related to compensation, benefits, and performance management.
  • Develop, update, and communicate policies and procedures pertaining to total rewards and employee performance.
  • Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation.

Employee Engagement

  • Collaborate with HR and management to develop initiatives that enhance employee engagement through performance management, compensation, and benefits.
  • Organize workshops and training sessions to educate employees about performance expectations and reward schemes.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., Certified Compensation Professional) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in performance management, compensation, and benefits roles.
  • Strong understanding of performance appraisal systems, compensation structures, benefits programs, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and reporting skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in HRIS, performance management systems, and data analytics tools.
  • High level of integrity with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
