Description
The Senior Manager – HR Transformation & Operations leads the strategy, design, and delivery of HR analytics and performance measurements across the global People Operations organization. This role transforms data into actionable insights that guide decision making, demonstrate business value, and shape the evolution of HR’s digital and operational transformation.
The position partners across HR Operations, HR teams, and IT to define key performance indicators, measure transformation outcomes, and build a storytelling framework that connects the HR Transformation portfolio to business impact. This leader drives visibility, accountability, and continuous improvement through data excellence and insight driven strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Measurement and KPI Framework
- Develop and maintain a global performance measurement strategy that aligns with HR transformation priorities, HR strategy, and enterprise objectives.
- Define and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational efficiency, service delivery, digital adoption, and employee experience.
- Partner with senior HR and business leaders to establish data baselines, benchmarks, and success metrics for transformation initiatives.
- Ensure alignment between HR data strategies and enterprise performance frameworks.
Data Analysis and Insight Generation
- Lead the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data across HR operations, shared services, and transformation projects.
- Translate data into meaningful insights and narratives that influence strategic decisions and resource prioritization.
- Use advanced analytics and visualization tools to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for process optimization and automation.
- Partner with the HRIS, HRSS, and HRPMO teams to ensure high data quality, consistency, and integrity across systems.
Reporting, Dashboards, and Storytelling
- Design and oversee executive level dashboards and reports that provide a clear view of operational performance, transformation progress, and business impact.
- Build data storytelling frameworks that connect HR performance to business outcomes such as efficiency, productivity, and employee engagement.
- Present findings and recommendations to HR leadership and executive stakeholders in a compelling, insight driven format.
- Continuously improve the reporting ecosystem by incorporating automation, predictive analytics, and AI driven visualization.
Operational Optimization and Decision Support
- Use insights and data models to identify process inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for standardization or automation.
- Partner with HR Operations, Knowledge Management, and PMO teams prioritize improvements based on business value and impact.
- Provide recommendations and business cases to support investment decisions in HR technology, process redesign, or service delivery enhancements.
Collaboration and Capability Building
- Foster a data driven mindset across People Operations by providing tools, training, and consultation to HR leaders and process owners.
- Partner with Finance, IT, and Analytics Centers of Excellence to align methodologies and share best practices.
- Ensure HR data strategies are compliant with privacy, governance, and ethical AI standards.
Continuous Improvement and Innovation
- Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of performance metrics and evolve frameworks to meet changing business needs.
- Monitor emerging trends in HR analytics, digital transformation measurement, and data storytelling to keep Genesys at the forefront of insight driven people operations.
- Champion experimentation and learning through pilot analytics projects and innovation sprints.
Qualification & Requirements
- 10 or more years of progressive experience in HR analytics, business intelligence, or operations strategy within a global organization.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing performance measurement frameworks and KPI dashboards.
- Strong proficiency with data visualization and analytics tools.
- Proven ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
- Expertise in process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Design Thinking.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
Preferred
- Experience leading analytics initiatives in large-scale HR transformation programs.
- Familiarity with AI and predictive analytics models in HR.
- Process Improvement methodology certification.
