With the creation of Group Corporate Services (GCS) on 1 October 2025, and all firm-wide transformational change agreed and led from within it, we are augmenting the Internal Communication leadership team with a critical new role.

The Head of Transformation & Group Corporate Services (T&GCS) Communications will lead a team that is focused on shaping and delivering transformational change to the firm, while also business partnering the GCS function, to build confidence, trust and pride in the leadership and strategy of this part of the firm.

As well as playing a key role in the embedding and adoption of strategic change and transformation programmes across KPMG, this senior position will work closely with the other IC Leadership Team members to understand the pipeline of change for the firm, be that GCS or Capability led, and create and oversee a flexible resourcing model to deliver change well.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sets strategic direction for T&GCS communication at KPMG, ensuring that the business has a consistent, high-quality approach to delivering people-led change and transformation communications providing oversight across all programmes, mindful of the cultural transformation requirements of key programmes, identifying risks and interdependencies, and providing strategic communications advice and challenge to senior leadership.
  • Accountable for the change communications planning and delivery of all tier 1 and tier 2 change programmes across the firm – that is, large scale complex strategic change programmes and transformations.
  • Works with Corporate Development, Head of EPO, Head of Internal Change and Heads of GCS and other investment leaders across the business to identify and prioritise programmes which require change communications resources.
  • Works closely with Head of Internal Change and Head of EPO, to provide a joined-up, rigorous approach to embed KPMG Change standards, methods, policies and enterprise-wide transformation comms delivery.
  • Reporting to the Head of Internal Communications and working closely with Head of Corporate Affairs & Marketing, Director of Communications (when appointed) and wider leadership team to ensure we have a holistic, integrated approach to communicating about our portfolio, with effective air traffic control of communications planning, messaging, and the management, mitigation and escalation of reputational and media risks. Ensures that all transformation communications plans support KPMG’s corporate narrative and vision.
  • Drives innovation and excellence in everything the team delivers, regularly drawing on external best-practice and learnings from client engagements.

  • Motivates and inspires the team to deliver excellent work and to drive innovation in support of the firm’s strategic, transformation and commercial objectives.
  • Provides exceptional stakeholder support that builds trust in the working relationship, confidence in our expertise, and a positive reputation for the wider function.
  • Leads performance management, demand management, and personal development of team members, including all direct reports and their reports, in line with internal processes and the strategic direction of the team.
  • Has knowledge of change methodologies (ie BCM/Powered and Prosci or equivalent) and manages the team to apply them.
  • Develops consistent and rigorous standards for measuring and evaluating success and shares these learnings with the T&GCS and wider IC and CAM team.
  • Works collaboratively with colleagues across Corporate Affairs & Marketing and the wider firm to help create a highly effective function, demonstrating ‘one team’ behaviours and fostering a positive working environment.
  • Has exceptional writing skills and extensive editorial experience.
