Description
For our Client, a leading global company in the automotive industry with significant exposure in the EMEA and APAC regions, we are seeking a newly created role of Head of Shared Service Center, responsible for developing structures and driving growth. The SSC will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial and business services to global entities across the group. The Head of Shared Service Center would lead the organization and drive operational excellence, standardization, and transformation across all service lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and lead the Shared Service Center (SSC) organization in Poland, ensuring seamless transition and stabilization of services,
- Oversee and manage a growing structure of up to 500 FTE’s, covering financial and business support functions including RTR, PTP, OTC, FP&A, Controlling, and Commercial Finance,
- Develop and implement the SSC operational model, governance framework, and performance management standards aligned with global corporate objectives,
- Build and lead a high-performing leadership team focused on continuous improvement, automation, and service excellence,
- Partner closely with senior corporate stakeholders, business units, and finance leaders across regions to ensure alignment between SSC operations and strategic business goals,
- Drive process optimization, digital transformation, and innovation within the SSC to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability,
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, financial regulations, and internal controls while fostering a culture of accountability and transparency.
Qualification & Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in finance shared services, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position managing large, multi-functional teams,
- Proven experience in building and scaling a Shared Service Center or leading transformation projects in an international corporate environment,
- Strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes (RTR, PTP, OTC) as well as business-oriented functions (FP&A, Controlling, Commercial Finance),
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with global stakeholders and act as a strategic business partner to corporate leadership,
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and change management skills,
- Fluency in English; proficiency in an additional European language will be an asset.
