Description

The Sr. Director/VP People Operations reporting to the CPO will be responsible for transforming People & Culture into a service platform that drives innovative, scalable processes and leverages AI and automation to enhance employee experience and operational efficiency.

A successful candidate for this position will lead and manage core HR operations, systems, and compliance, including HRIS, Data analytics, immigration support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for HR Operations, ensuring scalable, efficient, and employee-centric processes across the organization.
  • This role serves as the primary project manager for M&A enablement for People Ops
  • Oversee the ongoing performance, administration, optimization, and continuous improvement of the HR Tech stack, driving automation, accuracy, and seamless employee experiences.
  • Partner with HR COEs to ensure system support for all employee lifecycle programs and processes.
  • Lead HR Shared Services delivery, including employee support, onboarding/offboarding, data management, and compliance processes, with a focus on quality and service excellence.
  • Own enterprise HR reporting, dashboards, and business intelligence, ensuring leaders have accurate, timely insights to drive data-informed decisions.
  • Manage immigration administration; contractor and contingent workforce processes, Employment verification and other horizontal services and solutions.
  • Ensure HR business process are regularly evaluated to be eliminated, augmented or automated, ideally through AI solutions.
  • Partner with Finance/ Payroll, IT, and Legal on organizational data governance, policy alignment, and compliance with employment regulations.
  • Drive data analytics and predictive insights related to workforce trends, turnover, employee experience, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs, service level agreements, and continuous improvement initiatives to elevate HR operational efficiency.
  • Build and develop a high-performing HR Operations team, fostering collaboration, innovation, and a commitment to delivering exceptional employee experiences.

Qualification & Requirements

A successful candidate for this position will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong leadership and people management skills while inspiring high-performing teams. You will be expected to align HR strategy with company goals and contribute to the overall success of Transcarent by optimizing processes and systems that enhance the employee experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or equivalent work experience
  • Master’s degree preferred OR 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role with multiple human resource disciplines.
  • Demonstrated experience enhancing workflows, scaling and gaining efficiencies using AI systems and applications.
  • Proven track record of success in scaling HR operations in a growing company
  • Strong communicator with experience coaching leaders and a proven creative problem-solver with an ability to initiate projects and to drive things to completion.
  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and the ability to align HR strategy with company goals.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with HR technologies and systems, including HRIS
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong focus on results.
  • Passionate about improving employee experience, outcomes, and solutions (people, process, and technology).
