Description

We are seeking a forward looking and execution-focused Vice President, Global Finance Services to lead the management and ongoing evolution of centralized finance operations across the enterprise. This executive will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial services and driving operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with deep expertise in finance operations, automation, and stakeholder engagement. This role is pivotal in ensuring our external vendor delivers exceptional service, meets performance targets, and aligns with our company’s objectives. This leader will be the bridge between internal teams and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) partners, driving operational excellence, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Finance Operations Strategy & Optimization

  • Develop and execute the shared services strategy for finance operations aligned with organizational goals.
  • Lead the shift towards global process delivery team, championing harmonization and continuous improvement of end-to-end finance processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the SSC can successfully deliver on service expectations and understand needs enable the delivery of new services

Partnership Relationship Management and Governance

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with BPO partner on behalf of multiple geographies, and serve as the primary point of contact for ensuring vendor performance, escalations, and strategic alignment
  • Lead the establishment of the global shared services governance, in collaboration with the transformation office, our service provider and regional representatives, ensuring the successful operationalization of global managed services model

Performance Management and Operational Oversight

  • Ensure timely and accurate financial processing and reporting across all processes and business units.
  • Monitor KPIs, SLAs, and contractual obligations to ensure vendors meet or exceed expectations, identifying areas for improvement
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing models, service agreements, and change orders, ensuring adherence to partnership agreement.

Business Process Excellence and Optimization

  • Act as a catalyst for simplification, digitization, and the creation of intelligent workflows that adapt and learn in real time.
  • Support the transformation of core finance processes, shifting from task-based execution to outcome-oriented , ensuring SSC practices are successfully implemented
  • Contribute to the definition and implementation of a roadmap for digital and GenAI initiatives across the Global finance processes to supports autonomous decision

Leadership, Culture & Operating Model Design

  • Architect and lead a future-ready Global Finance Services organization that blends in-house talent, automation, and strategic partnerships (shared services, outsourcing, captives).
  • Build and inspire a service-oriented finance teams across global and regional hubs, nurturing a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous learning.
  • Drive enterprise-wide change management and stakeholder engagement to maximize adoption and value realization.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, promoting professional development and growth

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA or MBA preferred).
  • 15+ years of leadership experience in finance operations or shared services, with a strong track record of delivering operational excellence and cost efficiencies.
  • Deep understanding of finance operations (P2P, O2C, R2R), internal controls, compliance, and financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday) and automation technologies.
  • Experience integrating advanced technologies into service delivery models and measuring their impact on productivity, agility, and growth.
  • Experience in global or multi-site shared services environment, managing offshore or outsourced service delivery teams.
  • Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and influence cross-functional teams.
  • A global mindset and track record of leading diverse, cross-functional teams in matrixed environments
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
