Description
The HR support team’s mission is “Helping employees with everyday HR needs and coaching people leaders to effectively lead their teams.” The Strategy & Transformation team enables the HR support team to achieve their mission through: (1) Delivering a great self-service HR experience built on a foundation of easy-to-use technology and employee-centric HR content; (2) Equipping HR representatives with the latest information so they can provide exceptional service to employees when more support is needed beyond the self-service offerings; (3) Creating and driving a technology roadmap that improves the employee experience and increases team effectiveness and efficiency; (4) Identifying and executing continuous improvement in processes, technology, and team effectiveness.
This Sr. Director role has a team of six and owns the technology roadmap and transformation, the framework for the Employee Care team to be “ready” for new when things change, , HR knowledge and content governance, and project management as required by HR or the business. Key to success in this role include technology implementation experience, strategy and business case creation, managing relationships with HR & business leaders, understanding the Employee Care operational environment, and creative problem solving pared with delivery excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Business and EE Care Transformation Support: Own the approach for how EE Care and/or the Employee Experience & Enablement (E3) organization will evolve to support HR and business transformation initiatives. Support additional HR initiatives as needed based on priorities.
- Technology Landscape: Own the ongoing maintenance and transformation of key technologies such as Amelia and ServiceNow. Maintain effectiveness and create a strategy for the future for enhanced efficiency driven by AI and digital technologies.
- Readiness: Management of the volume of changes required for EE Care to support the business. Ensure EE Care team members have the resources and training to provide accurate and thorough support to employees and leaders, ensure all technology is equipped to provide self-service support, and partner with project teams to advise, escalate, solution, etc. as needed.
- HR Content Governance: Drives the strategy for HR content and self-service enablement. This includes ownership of decision for the future of the HR portal and integration of knowledge across other functions such as McKesson Technology to create a seamless employee experience for the“I need assistance” employee experience moment.
- Reporting and Insights: Ownership of reporting strategy, data definitions, partnership with People Analytics team, identification of insights, and delivery of reports and insights to HR and business partners.
The ideal candidate for this role has a passion for work such as:
- Scoping resources (people and budgets) needed for Employee Care and/or the broader HR Shared Services organization (Employee Experience & Enablement (E3)) to successfully support expanded offerings.
- Enabling self-service technologies and tools to empower employees and people leaders.
- Enhancing self-service HR content for consistency, quality and relevancy.
- Ensuring EE Care is prepared to support new or changed services.
- Owning strategy for systems and technologies (E.g, HR chatbot, ServiceNow) to identify efficiency gains, improve employee experience, etc.
- Collaborating to deliver an improved employee HR Support experience and decrease case volume.
- Supporting the implementation of HR and business priorities
Qualification & Requirements
Minimum
- Degree or equivalent experience. Typically requires 13+ years of professional experience and 6+ years of diversified leadership, planning, communication, organization, and people motivation skills
