Description
As the Head of Order and Delivery Management (f/m/d) for Siemens Global Business Services (GBS) in Poland, you will play a pivotal strategic role in leading and optimizing the end-to-end Order Management processes for Siemens’ regional operations within the Central Eastern Europe hub. You will lead a large organization of ~165 professionals, ensuring operational excellence and driving digital innovation. This position is responsible for the core focus of end-to-end Order Management processes, with additional responsibilities in the after-sales area.
You will take on full entrepreneurial and financial responsibility for the Order Management operations in Poland, serving as the key contact for regional clients and stakeholders from across Europe. Your leadership will be instrumental in championing customer satisfaction, driving process optimization, and supporting Siemens’ broader transformation journey, directly impacting critical customer satisfaction metrics.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development:
- Successfully leading and developing a large team of +160 professionals across 8 teams, fostering a culture of high performance, personal growth, and continuous learning
- Motivating the organization to meet set business targets
- Steering (increasingly larger) teams in an intercultural environment including Back Office in India (not directly managed)
Performance Culture:
- Ensuring operational excellence and stable operations
- Including through establishing and maintaining a KPI-driven performance culture that balances efficiency with quality and customer satisfaction
Stakeholder Management
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, balancing diverse needs and expectations
Digital Transformation / Process Optimization:
- Driving Siemens’ GBS transformation journey including harmonization, process automation, Artificial Intelligence
- Ensuring implementation of global standards (e.g. in the frame of SHERPA-X, Next Generation Order Management or Siemens One)
- Providing inputs for budget and forecast planning, ensure meeting financial targets
Qualification & Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in Order Management, with at least 5+ years in leadership roles in multi-functional Shared/Business Services organizations
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Demonstrated experience in leading large teams (100+ employees)
- Strong leadership skills, ability to manage and develop diverse team
- Strong understanding of end-to-end order management processes
- BPO/Shared services track record, proven experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluency in English and Polish (written and spoken); good knowledge of German will be a plus
- Commitment to quality, performance orientation and process optimization
