Description
As the DBB Change and Communications Regional Lead, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing change management strategies tailored to the needs and timelines of multiple European OpCos. Your expertise in change management methodologies and your ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams will be instrumental in achieving successful outcomes. This role emphasizes pro-active two-way engagement within the OpCo, effectively managing and mitigating the impact of the DBB program.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and executing a comprehensive change management strategy and plan, customized to the OpCo’s unique requirements.
- Identifying and engaging with stakeholders at all levels in the OpCo, understanding their perspectives, and ensuring their alignment with change objectives.
- Collaborating with the OpCo Transition Team to provide guidance and expertise in addressing change challenges and best practices.
- Collaborating with the Regional Programme Manager to establish, maintain, and execute the communications plan, ensuring consistent messaging.
- Working closely with the OpCo Change & Communications Lead and OpCo HR Lead to foster OpCo-wide acceptance of change and the adoption of DBB’s New Ways of Working.
- Facilitating the onboarding of the OpCo Transition Team, ensuring they are equipped to lead and support the change journey.
- Ensuring that change is well understood at all levels in the OpCo, with a focus on the effective implementation of new working practices.
- Supporting the onboarding and assessment of Key Users and Change Agents, where applicable.
- Executing the communication plan through the various phases of the transition journey.
- Ensuring that transition toolkit clusters remain up to date, and tools and templates align with best practices.
Qualification & Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in change management, organizational transformation, or related fields, ideally within a project management office (PMO) or consultancy.
- Demonstrated ability to lead change initiatives in multi-country program rollouts.
- Strong understanding of change management methodologies and tools; certification (e.g., Prosci-ADKAR) is highly desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to facilitate workshops and training.
- Ability to leverage data to assess change readiness, monitor progress, and refine strategies as needed.
- Skilled in engaging with and influencing senior leaders, fostering trust, and building collaborative relationships.
- Experience with digital tools for project and change management (e.g., JIRA, SharePoint).
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with flexibility to pivot as program needs evolve.
- Proficiency in English is required, with additional European languages being an advantage.
- Willingness to travel as needed across Europe to support OpCo initiatives.
