Procurement Manager – eSourcing

Key Responsibilities

  • The Procurement Manager eSourcing is responsible for building up, operationalizing and monitoring the procurement services (e.g. Content enablement, Contract mgmt, eSourcing, Sourcing Channel creation, process automation, Master data mgmt), globally.
  • Manage Procurement Operations Manage one or more disciplines (Content Enablement, eSourcing, Master Data Management) for the region in collaboration with any peer. lead as a senior escalation point. Ensure delivery of measurable value for Sandoz.
  • Manage end-to-end Procurement processes and standard operating procedures Drive operational excellence, process and technology standardization. Drive implementation of best practices. Continuous improvement. Collaborate with IT on Procurement technology roadmap.
  • Accountable for cross domain collaboration foster connections between domains and regions. Foster connections between locations within the procurement network. Own operationalization of Sandoz-wide strategic priorities in procurement (e.g. innovation, quality programs).
  • Coordinate the local service delivery of operational processes Coordinate the local service delivery of one or more operational processes globally, or regionally or country specific provided by the Services Centers or third-party providers. Ensure that globally provided services, processes and tools are being implemented in a standardized, efficient and compliant way to the benefit of the end-user community.
  • Partner with category teams, Global Service Centers and Global Process Owners and a strong business partnering with department Heads and CFOs. Ensure close business partnering with the country team members regarding all operational processes.
  • Lead country and GSC implementation, change management and adoption of global procurement systems, standards, processes and procedures. Drive standardization, continuous improvement and simplification.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Education: University/Advanced level degree needed. Master’s Degree/other advanced degree in the Economics, Finance or related areas is preferred.
  • Languages: English (excellence in speaking and writing), additional languages desirable.
  • Experience and Skills >9 years of Leadership Procurement experience. Preferably >9 years of experience in Procurement or other related experience within the shared services area, working in global teams, Track record in delivering customer centric solutions and delivering high customer satisfaction.
  • Proven track record of talent management and people development
  • Strong project management or other leadership experience.
