Integration GBS Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and assist the implementation of integrations using SAP BTP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, API Management, Open Connectors).
• Develop Architecture patterns and Points of View for Java/Spring Boot microservices, web services, and RESTful APIs to facilitate data exchange between SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Define and enforce API standards, security policies, and versioning strategies.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git, GitHub, and DevOps methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Business Analysts, Infrastructure, Security, QA) to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Perform code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize performance and scalability.
• Document architecture, data models, interface specs, and operational runbooks.
• Mentor junior engineers and evangelize best practices in integration architecture and DevOps.

Qualification & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 6+ years of hands-on experience designing and developing enterprise integrations.
• Familiarity with implementing SAP S/4HANA APIs and consuming them with BTP Integration Suite and JAVA Microservices.
• Proven proficiency in:
  • Java and Spring Boot microservices
  • SOAP/REST Web Services and API design
• Proficiency with SAP BTP Integration Suite
• Proven experience with DevOps methodologies:
  • Git and GitHub workflows (branching, PRs, code reviews
  • CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance
• Strong understanding of software architecture patterns (microservices, event-driven, API-first).
• Strong understanding of Integration security methods and requirements. OIDC, SAML2, BTP IAS and XSUAA.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform and MS Azure cloud implementations.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
