Description

The Director of Human Resources will oversee HR operations within Apis Shared Services as well as act as a liaison between the VP of Human Resources, leadership and the Human Resources operations team. This role involves strategic planning, policy implementation, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking, mission-driven HR leader who aligns people strategy with organizational goals and anticipates evolving workforce needs. This individual is strategic yet grounded – adept at executing the strategic plan while cultivating a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance. They are visible and engaged, leading with integrity, modeling accountability, and setting the tone for professionalism across the department. A natural relationship builder and creative problem-solver, they foster trust with internal teams and community partners alike. With deep expertise in employment law, labor relations, benefits, classification and compensation, and organizational development, they bring data-driven insights to HR programs and policy. HUMAN RESOURCES DIRECTOR

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Alignment: Develop and implement region-specific HR strategies aligned with overall company goals, considering local market dynamics and legal requirements.
  • Talent Performance Management: Succession planning, and performance management initiatives across the region. Track key HR metrics like employee engagement, turnover, and workforce diversity, identifying areas for improvement and reporting to senior leadership
  • Employee Relations: Address employee concerns, manage conflict resolution, and ensure a positive work environment by collaborating with regional managers.
  • Compliance: Monitor and ensure adherence to all local employment laws and company policies regarding compensation, benefits, and employee rights. Ensure HRIS data complies with relevant labor laws and regulations
  • Leadership Development:
  • Coach and mentor HR managers within the region, promoting career growth and consistent HR practices.
  • Data Management: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of employee data within the HRIS system, including data entry, validation, and reporting.
  • User Training and Support: Provide training to employees on how to use the HRIS system effectively
  • Reporting and Analytics: Develop and generate customized reports to provide insights into HR metrics and trends
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and improve efficiency through system automation and optimization.

Qualification & Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience
  • 5 years HR Leadership experience
  • People-oriented and results-driven.
  • Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics.
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
