Description

This position develops and executes the long-term strategic development, implementation, and execution of the Shared Services team. Directs and oversees centralized associate teams focused on client acquisition and relationship management outside of the bank’s branch network. Oversees all client delivery strategies, ongoing enhancements, policies, relationship management, support processes across select General Bank business units (i.e., Client Solutions, Cannabis, Non-Profit, and Community Development Finance). The Senior Director Shared Services will work to align business strategy with broader organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Strategy – Directs shared services strategy and roadmaps that deliver a superior client experience and relevancy in a competitive market environment. Fosters inter-departmental collaboration to ensure provision of the best client experience and product offerings. Promotes client advocacy by ensuring consistent processes. Consults with executive and business unit leaders on roadmap objectives, performance accountability, and channel expectations.
  • Managerial Functions – Establishes and monitors expectations to achieve company and department goals. Makes appropriate changes to team policies, procedures, and efficiencies to meet objectives. Manages the performance, training, and evaluation of assigned staff.
  • Collaboration– Develops and manages partnerships with internal teams, business unit leaders, and partners to enable and execute the overall shared services strategy.
  • Client Experience – Directs the delivery of a competitive, exemplary client-centric experience.
  • Risk Management – Ensures compliance throughout daily activities with all applicable regulations, credit policies, and guidelines

Qualification & Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 10 years of experience in Financial Services OR High School Diploma or GED and 14 years of experience in Financial Services

Preferred Education

  • Masters Degree

  • Experience leading an enterprise level Shared Services organization
