The Senior Manager of Global Procurement & Accounts Payable will lead the end-to-end procure-to-pay (P2P) function, overseeing vendor management, purchasing, invoice processing, expense reporting, and payment operations. This role is responsible for ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant processing of all payables while optimizing systems and workflows to support a growing global organization and driving cost savings. You will also partner cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, IT, and business stakeholders to improve procurement strategies and financial controls. They will possess the ability to create, develop, and coach high performing teams and act as a strong collaborative partner across the organization.

Senior Manager, Global Procurement & Accounts Payable

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a global team, driving continuous improvement in performance, processes, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  • Develop and track KPIs and provide insights to the leadership team regarding savings, ROI, and operational performance.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), environmental regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.
  • Oversee the development and enforcement of corporate policies, ensuring transparency and accountability in all vendor interactions.
  • Regularly collaborate with internal audit, legal, and compliance teams to ensure that activities align with corporate governance frameworks.
  • Drive innovation in practices, using technologies and analytics.
  • Own and enhance the procure-to-pay system (e.g., Coupa, Tipalti, Netsuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar).

Accounts Payable Management

  • Lead and manage the Accounts Payable team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of all invoices, expense reports, and payments.
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end AP closing activities, including reconciliations, reporting, and accruals.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain AP policies, procedures, and internal controls to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, such as Days Payable Outstanding (DPO) and invoice cycle time.
  • Collaborate with treasury, accounting, and other finance functions to ensure seamless processes.

Procurement Oversight

  • Support the sourcing and selection of vendors; oversee the RFx (RFI/RFP/RFQ) processes when needed.
  • Maintain a centralized vendor database, ensure onboarding documentation is complete, and monitor vendor performance.
  • Track and report procurement KPIs such as spend under management, contract compliance, and cost savings.
  • Oversee cost-saving initiatives and procurement programs that drive efficiency & reduce costs.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify cost reduction opportunities, negotiate contracts, and implement cost control measures while maintaining quality and service delivery.

Qualification & Requirements

  • 4 Year / Bachelor’s Degree (Required) A combination of relevant experience and education may be considered
  • Minimum of 8 years of procurement and accounts payable or related experience, preferably in a public company (Required).
  • Knowledge and understanding of SOX compliance and internal controls.
  • Proven track record of implementing scalable processes and tools in a high-growth tech or SaaS company.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP and procurement systems
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Desire to actively lead, coach, and develop others
  • Well-developed vendor negotiation skills and strong business management acumen
  • Possess strong leadership and mentoring skills to effectively delegate and develop teammates in the finance department on an ongoing basis both onshore and offshore
