Associate Director – Transition & PMO (EMEA/Mid Shift)

Key Responsibilities

Program/ Project Management

  • Managed large and multiple ends to end projects with different levels of complexities. Plans and schedule project deliverables, goals & milestones.
  • Successfully led projects spanning multiple geographies.
  • Ability to work with limited information and leverage probing skill to drive results.
  • Conduct due diligence, opportunity assessments for projects.
  • Thorough understanding and experience in process mapping, business case creation, cost benefit analysis, project planning and implementation
  • Strong focus on deliverables – do whatever it takes to meet timelines and quality.
  • Create and maintain the project deliverables including but not limited to project plan, risk plan, resource management plan, weekly project status reports, communications plan, meeting minutes, actions/issues/decisions register.
  • Report program status and escalate risks & issues along with mitigation plans.
  • Ensure benefit delivery as per financial and non-financial targets in individual and managed projects through effective implementation and change management.
  • Is flexible to work in wide range of projects and across domains.
  • Oversee project/program quality, ensuring that deliverables meet established standards.
  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and track project/program performance against them.
  • Prepare regular status reports and presentations for executive stakeholders.
  • Develop Change control process to effectively manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
  • Oversee a highly motivated team of Project / Program Managers

Relationship Management

  • Partner with various stakeholders, facilitate conversations to meet project objectives.
  • Can face off to senior stakeholders to convey program requirements and updates.
  • Can manage global teams with proven ability to lead, coach and motivate resources.
  • Ability to closely partner with operations personnel (across geographies) on projects.
  • Ability to network with entire WTW organization and get things done by building bridges.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients or customers, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing their needs
  • Resolve conflicts and issues that may arise within the project team.
  • Partner with various enabling functions to ensure that the project/program adheres to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Keep self abreast with market trends (e.g. AI offering) and contribute where relevant

People Management/ Development

  • Inspires operational employees to create their own action plan and achieve results.
  • Aware of mind-set and behavior challenges in an operational transformation
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior project/program managers or team members

Qualification & Requirements

Qualifications

  • Graduate in any field
  • Project Management certifications preferred (Prince2 / PMP)

Knowledge/Experience

  • 10 + years of relevant experience in a program / project management role
  • Proven track record of running large projects.
  • Experience in insurance / broking or financial services industry will be added advantage

  • Excellent written & verbal communication
  • Proactive approach and results focused.
  • Should be comfortable in dealing with ambiguity and reach best possible result.
  • Must be able to independently identify root causes, gather and analyze data to support hypotheses and develop actionable recommendation.
  • Working within tight deadlines; balancing time across multiple, simultaneous projects that may involve different procedures and project team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and deliver results.
