Senior Manager – Applied Research

Key Responsibilities

  • Research Leadership: Lead a team of researchers and innovators, providing guidance and support in the execution of cutting-edge research projects.
  • Work closely with Operations to identify and ideate problem statements and potential use case and work with Operations, Enterprise Analytics and Technology teams to execute on use cases.
  • Work closely with Operations, Digital Transformation and Change Management teams to deploy approved solutions at scale.
  • Technology Adoption: Identify emerging technologies and trends in AI and Digitalization that can be leveraged to enhance our products, services, and internal processes.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for the Applied Research and Open Innovation department, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Team Development: Recruit, mentor, and empower a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other departments to integrate AI, Digitalization, and innovation into our overall business strategy.
  • Performance Measurement: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly assess the department’s performance, making data-driven improvements as needed.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that research activities and partnerships adhere to legal and ethical standards, managing associated risks effectively.

Qualification & Requirements

You will need:

  • Strategy creation, Stakeholder Management, Cross functional team management
  • POC Management, Build- Operate- Transfer Model delivery experience, UX experience
  • ERP, CRM, Telephony, Cybersecurity Knowledge, API Integration, specialised and Gen AI
  • Start- up accelerators and open innovation methods
  • Deep understanding of Innovation methods such Open and Dual Innovation management
