The IT Global Product Finance and Sourcing Performance Officer is a critical role responsible for optimizing cost structures, recharging mechanisms, and sourcing strategies across the lifecycle of IT products. The role ensures financial sustainability by managing multi-year costing, elaborating and following up on business cases, and implementing transparent and effective cost-recharging frameworks. This position drives financial efficiency while supporting the strategic and operational objectives of a global IT product portfolio.

IT Global Product Finance and Sourcing Performance Officer

Key Responsibilities

  • Cost Optimization: Annual and multi-year cost savings across the IT product portfolio.
  • Business Case Realization: Percentage of business cases delivered within budget and achieving projected ROI.
  • Recharging Efficiency: Improvement in the accuracy, transparency, and fairness of recharging models.
  • Lifecycle Financial Performance: Alignment of actual costs with forecasted lifecycle budgets.
  • Vendor Performance: Reduction in sourcing costs while maintaining or exceeding quality standards.
  • Capacity Management: Setup & control, capacity management and secure execution of the product sourcing strategy aligned with cost trajectories
  • Stakeholder Satisfaction: Positive feedback from internal stakeholders regarding cost and recharging transparency.

Qualification & Requirements

PROFILE :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Master Business Administration, IT Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in IT financial management, business case development, and sourcing strategy.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-year budgets and lifecycle financial planning.

SKILLS :

  • Proficiency in financial modelling, business case development, and ROI analysis.
  • Strong understanding of IT product lifecycles, cost allocation methodologies, and recharging frameworks.
  • Expertise in vendor management, sourcing strategies, and contract negotiation.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Proven ability in conducting and presenting sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translating the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in financial and reporting tools, such as ERP systems, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Ability to influence topics and people to achieve results
  • Strong financial and analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of presenting to senior management
  • Deep experience of Microsoft Office Suite required (extensive knowledge of Excel required)
  • Excellent cross group collaboration skills
