Description

The Employee Services Regional Lead APAC will lead a team of around 10 professional HR Employee Services between Managers, SR Specialists, HRSC Specialists in our Kuala Lumpur Shared Service Center delivering and managing end-to-end Employee Services Delivery processes. The incumbent will have a key role in overseeing delivery and improving HR services provided by our shared service center to Organon’s HR regions. They will help to build a strong governance and relationships and establish stable, effective, standardized and controlled process delivery to our internal clients. The role reports into Organon’s to the ESS Global Employee Services Lead.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading an internal team of approximately 10 HR Employee Services experts who are accountable for the delivery of internal services to support our HR Team, Founders and stakeholders in 13 countries.
  • Coaching and alignment of service center and Employee Services teams to assure adherence to agreed service levels (quantitative and qualitative) instilling homologated ways of working, applying metrics, sharing with stakeholders and to continuously measure delivery performance and process health.
  • Development of the Regional strategy and ownership of appropriate KPIs and visualization tools to measure and show the performance of the team, sharing with stakeholders.
  • Strong focus on continuous improvement of HR support processes.
  • Oversees the assessment and analysis of new, incoming forms of HR Administration work as to overall suitability for entry in the company’s HR shared services organization; Implements the transition of such work into delivery scope of services converting from conventional to efficient, scalable governed processes.
  • Ensuring team alignment and seamless partnership with both in-market HR teams as well Global Mobility ‘COE’s center of expertise teams.
  • Disposition of escalated service issues, identifying a resolution path and sharing the outcome with internal stakeholders to foster efficient collaboration and build trust in our services
  • Ownership of a central knowledge base for HR Services processes.
  • Supporting the extension of the service portfolio through harmonization and expanding scope of services and/or region coverage aligned with the HR Stakeholders, building strong bonds of communication and collaboration.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 10+ years of experience in a complex multinational business environment, with focus on HR Service Delivery, HR Function & CoE knowledge desirable.
  • Stakeholder Management: building and sustaining relationships with key internal stakeholders, support teams and vendors.
  • Strong influencing skills – ability to navigate among many different stakeholders at global levels and across functions.
  • Strong Process orientation – problem solving and root cause identification skills.
  • Experience leading a regional / global team for at least 7 years.
  • Leadership and driving change in a resilient environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English. Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences. Another language desirable.
