Description

The Senior Manager Shared Services is a key role in the Finance Senior Leadership Team. Leading the service delivery of operational and transactional processes for a portfolio including Order to Cash, Accounts Payable, Fuel Management, Master Data and Expense Management processes Providing strategic thinking and commercial leadership and advice, proactively leading the function to transform shared services delivery to our stakeholders across the Linfox Group of companies, including Linfox Logistics, BevChain and Armaguard.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will support key accountabilities including but not limited to:

Functional

  • Direct the overall performance of services and ensure accountabilities for the quality, integrity and accuracy of the services provided.
  • Lead the successful delivery of day-to-day Order to Cash, Accounts Payable, Fuel Management, Master Data and Expense Management processes, including:
    • Accounts payable – invoicing, payment and compliance to payment terms and authorisation limits and systems administration.
    • Expense Management – employee expense claims, system administration, consolidated accounts, GR/IR management, registrations, fuel postings, fines, tolls and balance sheet reconciliations.
    • Order to Cash– invoicing, revenue assurance, credit risk, collections, accounts receivable and customer service management.
    • Master Data – onboarding Customers, Vendors and Suppliers to SAP, updating general customer/supplier information.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Business Partnering with business units to ensure the best outcome for Linfox and our partners.
  • Work closely with multiple senior leadership individuals and business units to contribute to business cases and projects.

Technical

  • Strong accounting knowledge inc. Accounts Payable, Order to Cash, Expense Management, Cost Accounting and technical reporting.
  • SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4 Hana

Qualification & Requirements

With demonstrated experience working across supply chain/logistics industries, you will leverage your finance acumen whilst leading a team of 2 direct and up to 27 indirect staff. You will have worked closely with operations and traditional business units across a large organisation and develop relationships both internally with senior executives. Other skills and knowledge include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Commerce or Finance
  • Desirable CPA or CA qualification and membership
  • Experience working in a supply chain, transport, or logistics sector in a senior finance role desired
  • Experience in leading projects and working with multiple stakeholders
  • Desirable knowledge and proven skills in: SAP/S4Hana, Concur and Billing systems
  • Demonstrated high level of communication and interpersonal skills
  • Leadership experience of a diverse skilled team highly desirable.
