Description
Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer (based in the U.S.), the Marketing Director will be accountable for campaign delivery, team performance, cross-functional alignment, and operational excellence across all marketing workstreams. This high-impact leadership role is ideal for a strategic, execution-focused marketing generalist with strong executive presence, a digital mindset, and experience in shared services or BPO environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations, performance, and growth of the Manila-based shared marketing services team
- Lead, mentor, and support team members across functions including digital marketing, social media, content, copywriting, communications, design, web development, analytics, and project management
- Serve as the primary liaison between Manila marketing operations and U.S.-based marketing and recruitment teams
- Partner with the Chief Marketing Officer to drive marketing priorities across recruitment, brand awareness, internal engagement, partnerships, and community campaigns
- Ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of marketing assets, campaigns, reports, and projects that align with organizational goals
- Drive process improvement, capacity planning, and resource management using tools like Monday.com
- Champion collaboration, transparency, and alignment with the company’s mission across all marketing efforts
- Manage external communication escalations, review workflows, and handle time-sensitive requests
- Represent marketing in cross-functional planning with People & Culture, Talent Acquisition, Communications, and Operations teams
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), ensure budget adherence, and support data-driven performance management in collaboration with team leads and leadership
Qualification & Requirements
- 8–10+ years of experience in a senior marketing leadership role, with a proven track record managing cross-functional and cross-border teams
- Strong executive presence and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Deep expertise in digital marketing, communications, content, creative strategy, and performance marketing
- Demonstrated experience in operational marketing and managing scalable marketing delivery
- Experience working within shared services or BPO environments
- Skilled in leading distributed or global teams and collaborating across time zones
- Strong people leader with a focus on coaching, empowerment, and high-performance team culture
- Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Monday.com) and marketing platforms (e.g., Google Ads, WordPress, Meta Suite, and analytics tools)
- Bonus: Experience in healthcare, nonprofit, human services, or purpose-driven sectors
- Bonus: Familiarity with U.S.-based audiences and recruitment-focused marketing
