Description
By joining us as a Finance Controller , you will play a critical leadership role in overseeing the financial health of the organization. Reporting to the Site Finance Director, this role is responsible for managing financial reporting, internal controls, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and strategic financial planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation, accuracy and timeliness of financial reports
- Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and timely
- Coordinate and oversee the closing of books at period-end and year-end
- Analyze financial statements, ensure timely and accurate reporting to stakeholders
- Oversee preparation of quarterly President’s Operating Report (POR)
- Review and report on the overall business operations and enterprise budget adherence to the Business Leader/General Manager and Finance Director
- Ensure comprehensive compliance and operational excellence by adhering to internal and external audit requirements, meeting all tax and government payment deadlines, timely submission of statutory reports and business permits, maintaining compliance with corporate reporting standards
Qualification & Requirements
For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy with Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, MBA preferred
- At least twelve (12) years professional experience, including management of an accounting team, positions of increasing responsibility in Accounting, Financial Planning/Budget Management, and Tax and Compliance
- Experience working in Shared Business Services or Business Process Outsourcing
- Knowledge of accounting systems with experience in systems development (Oracle, other ERP)
- Strong analytical and financial reporting skills, expertise in regulatory compliance, ERP proficiency, and excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Prior experience in supporting business units, preferably in a matrixed organization structure
- Prior P&L management experience
- Strong financial reporting background (HFM preferred)
