Shared Services Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Management of end-to-end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable function
• Develop and enhance the capability of the central shared services team, including coaching, and support to ensure KPIs are met
• Building sound relationships with the business unit finance leaders
• Identify and drive process improvements and business re-engineering opportunities
• Escalation of overdue debtors and tracking of unapproved invoices
• Monitor quality and authorisation compliance of policy and processes
• Lead, support and develop a medium sized shared service team including management of workloads and delegation
• Develop a continuous improvement team culture

Qualification & Requirements

• Suitably qualified with superior experience leading Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
• Strong communication skills and proven experience supporting and leading high performing teams
• A background in the construction industry is required, with proven knowledge of subcontractor claims, retentions, and key contractual obligations
• Extensive experience leading transactional finance teams within large, complex organisations, with a strong understanding of what best practice shared services environments look like
