Description
The Finance department at HRS sees itself as a strategic partner that helps shape the operational business – from accounting to financial analyses and investment strategies. A team of around 40 people supports the entire HRS Group as a shared service, with the goal of increasing efficiency and helping shape the future of business travel.
The HRS Group is seeking a Head of Global Accounting (all genders) for its Cologne or Berlin office. In this role, you will lead a team and actively drive the optimization of accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsibility for the preparation of the consolidated annual, quarterly and monthly financial statements of the HRS Group
- Ensuring the reporting of subsidiaries within the framework of the group-wide reporting processes
- Support of foreign subsidiaries in all accounting matters
- Preparation of monthly bank reporting and other ad hoc reports
- Operational implementation of consolidation, preparation of intercompany settlements and processing of day-to-day business
- Ensuring continuous improvement of accounting processes
- Contact person for auditors and tax advisors of foreign subsidiaries
- Management and coaching of a team of up to 3 employees
