Description
We are looking for responsible IT specialists who are passionate about advancing Bundeswehr IT through challenging digitalization projects and thus want to contribute to Germany’s security. The PoD1 Collaboration department, as part of Shared Service Delivery, offers our customers solutions that optimally support the digitalization of their business processes and enable users to collaborate and complete their tasks effectively and efficiently. To this end, we provide powerful and cost-effective groupware, conferencing, and telephony services based on modern technologies (e.g., cloud) from the respective market leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Assumption of end-to-end service management responsibility for the contractually compliant and economical operation as well as the further development of the SharePoint solutions DokMBw for the Bundeswehr
- Assuming budget responsibility for the service during the operational phase, including financial and investment planning and implementation of risk management
- Technical management of a virtual, cross-functional service team (consultants, developers, IT architects, IT administrators, external service providers, etc.)
- Performing an interface function to the user representation at the customer Bundeswehr as well as to internal development projects
- Coordination of joint service provision with partner CGI, which supplies business application components
Qualification & Requirements
- Completed studies or comparable training in the field of business and/or computer science
- Approximately 5 years of professional experience in managing collaboration solutions, MS SharePoint desirable as well as experience in technical leadership
- Several years of experience in agile project management methodology as well as good knowledge of the ITIL framework including experience in implementation
- Knowledge of CGI eGov360 or DokMBw as well as basic knowledge of MS server networks, MSSQL and MS SharePoint
- Good commercial understanding and several years of experience in supplier and service provider management
- Good delegation skills, good teamwork, communication and conflict management skills as well as stress resistance
- Fluent German skills and a solid understanding of English
