Description

The Accounting GBS Manager organises and supervises the accounting management of the BUs integrated into the department, in accordance with the strategic orientations adopted by the governing bodies and the regulations in force (accounting, tax, social). He/she ensures the local management of the Accounting Managers of his/her department.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting Management

  • Ensure the harmonization of accounting methods within the department
  • Set up and supervise the organization to ensure the proper maintenance and progress of the accounting of the devices
  • Ensure the link and coherence of the SSC with the group’s BUs
  • Participate in certain closing operations under the supervision of internal clients and comply with the group schedule
  • Validate audit files within its scope
  • Draft, update and implement the procedures necessary for the processing of accounting under the supervision of the Deputy Chief Financial Officer
  • Carry out internal control missions by ensuring the proper application of procedures
  • Ensure deadlines are met
  • Propose evolutions and improvements to the organization, tools and processes
  • Ensure the business link with the Statutory Auditors during audits

Team Management

  • Lead the team, encourage, recognize and value
  • Participate in the recruitment, onboarding, and integration of team or department members
  • Organise the activity of professionals within its scope (working hours, leave, replacements, training absences, etc.); control and validate and elements related to time management
  • Conduct and follow up on HR interviews (evaluation, professional, professional assessments, etc.) of its employees
  • Participate in the development and implementation of training and skills development actions for your team, identify training needs
  • Guarantee the follow-up of the training actions of its employees
  • Ensure the dissemination of general information concerning its scope and activity
  • Supervise, control, supervise when necessary

Qualification & Requirements

  • Diploma in accounting-management
  • Mandatory experience of 5 to 10 years in a similar position and/or in an accounting firm with management assignments
  • Work organization and priority management
  • Proficiency in professional writing
  • Teamwork – Listening – Interpersonal skills
  • Opening for Travel
  • Languages: Advanced English. French is a plus.
