Description

The HR Director will serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership and property-level teams, overseeing all aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition, employee relations, organizational development, compliance, and performance management. This is a pivotal leadership role designed for a results-driven HR professional with a passion for hospitality and people development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute HR strategies that align with the company’s vision, business objectives, and growth plans.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team on all HR matters, including workforce planning, succession, and organizational design.
  • Lead talent acquisition strategies to source high-quality candidates for both corporate and property-level roles.
  • Build employer branding initiatives to position the company as an employer of choice in the hospitality industry.
  • Implement retention strategies to reduce turnover and improve employee satisfaction across all properties.
  • Design and oversee company-wide training and development programs, including leadership development, hospitality skills, compliance, and service excellence.
  • Establish property-level training standards and ensure consistent implementation across all locations.
  • Oversee the implementation and execution of performance review processes, goal setting, and feedback systems.
  • Provide coaching and support to property managers on performance improvement and employee development.
  • Lead investigations and resolve complex employee relations issues in compliance with legal standards and company policies.
  • Serve as a mediator and advisor in conflict resolution at both corporate and hotel levels.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, health and safety regulations, and brand standards.
  • Keep policies and procedures up to date with evolving laws and industry best practices.
  • Partner with legal counsel as needed on employment-related matters.
  • Oversee competitive compensation structures and benefits programs across all hotel locations.
  • Conduct market benchmarking and develop incentive and recognition programs aligned with performance.
  • Manage and optimize HR systems to improve efficiency and reporting capabilities.
  • Track HR metrics and KPIs (e.g., turnover, time-to-fill, training completion) and deliver actionable insights to leadership.
  • Provide HR support and strategic direction to General Managers and on-site HR teams across multiple hotels.
  • Conduct site visits to ensure HR best practices are consistently applied throughout the portfolio.
