Description
As the Sr. Manager, People Services, you will provide direction and leadership to the Global People Services Shared Services team that is responsible for front line HR support to managers and employees. This role is critical to our ability to successfully support a high-growth organization by enabling efficiency across the HR organization. Additionally, this role will help lead improvements in processes and design across our shared services team to continue to optimize our team. In this role, you will have a direct impact on our employees’ experience at Docusign.
This position is a people manager role reporting to the Sr. Director, HRBP.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a global team responsible for case management and processes across the entire employee lifecycle, ensuring customer service expectations are met
- Provide operational and administrative support for Human Resources Business Partners (HRBP) and HR Generalists. This includes partnering with HR Centers of Excellence (COE) (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, Talent Development) to manage and perform operational needs of HR programs and initiatives
- Partner with HR stakeholders to understand compliance needs, implementing robust processes to address potential risks and improve ease of use, data integrity, reports, and analytics
- Support and be accountable for the global Shared Services roadmap and manage service delivery in line with People team objectives
- Lead the implementation and evolution of our global Shared Services program, incorporating HR best practices
- Provide strategic direction on project deliverables, escalation management, and the resourcing model by ensuring cross-regional alignment of resources
- Serve as a subject matter expert on operationalizing global HR policies at scale
- Manage the accuracy and delivery of transactions and processes, ensuring they are completed at the highest standards
- Seek out opportunities to automate and enhance our operations to address business needs and improve efficiency while keeping employee experience as the utmost priority
- Partner with internal and external teams (e.g., vendors, IT, Payroll, FP&A, Legal) to develop processes and align on goals and expectations of service delivery, seeking global alignment wherever possible
- Coach and mentor a senior team, including other managers, playing an active role in developing expertise and strategic thinking, as well as providing leadership and growth opportunities
- Lead and complete additional projects as needed
Qualification & Requirements
Basic
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, or related field
- 8+ years related experience with a minimum of 8+ years of experience working within a Shared Services/People Operations scaled environment including 5+ years of leadership experience
- Experience working in a shared services environment specifically development of services, such as process redesign, case management related systems and employee centric design on a global scale
- Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion, maintaining confidentiality when required
- Experience with Workday or other HCM systems, including HR Case Management and reporting capabilities
Preferred
- Working knowledge of G-Suite (including Google Slides, Google Sheets, advanced excel, Word etc.)
- Proactive and able to organize and prioritize with limited guidance; work independently or within teams, and meet deadlines
- Genuine excitement and passion for leading root cause analysis, troubleshooting technical process failures, and implementing fixes to operationalize a process
- Exceptional attention to detail and solid time management
- Great interpersonal and written communication skills with capability to work with all levels in the organization
- Experience managing managers
- Ability to think outside of the box and work in a fast paced, shifting, non-structured environment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple complex tasks and projects

- Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
- Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
