Description

As the Product Owner for WAN at HEINEKEN, you will lead the global design, development, and optimization of secure, scalable WAN solutions across more than 800 sites worldwide. Based in the Kraków Global Shared Services hub, you will own the WAN vision, strategy, and product lifecycle, drive innovation, manage vendor relationships, and ensure alignment with business needs and security standards. This role is part of the Digital & Technology function and the Digital Infrastructure Portfolio, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver cost-effective connectivity solutions that support HEINEKEN’s global operations.

Product Owner WAN

Key Responsibilities

  • owning the vision and roadmap for WAN technologies (e.g. SDWAN, MPLS, VPNs, cloud networking)
  • managing relationships with telecom carriers and vendors, including contracts, service levels, and performance monitoring
  • ensuring 24/7 delivery of secure and reliable WAN connectivity services in collaboration with partners
  • managing the product backlog, setting priorities to maximize business value
  • overseeing financial governance, budgeting and long-term planning for PCD connectivity platforms
  • engaging internal and external stakeholders across functions, regions, and partner ecosystems
  • defining architectural standards and roadmaps in partnership with architecture teams
  • co-leading an agile, high-performing product team together with the Scrum Master.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Master’s degree in IT
  • experience within a complex international environment (Countries/Regions)
  • strong and demonstrated leadership experience with connectivity platforms in a multinational environment
  • experience managing global teams (combining internal employees and external partners), creating a trusted, business-focused mindset, and developing secure design strategies for related services
  • experience in identifying, selecting, and implementing relevant new technologies and influencing the business with a formal global financial business case for its related services
  • entrepreneurial mindset and ability to connect with internal and external audiences, including senior management
  • sense of urgency to support Operating Companies (OpCos) and their operations with relevant services
  • preferably PSPO certified.
