Description

We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Director of Strategic Execution Office to help stand up and lead portfolio management within our newly formed Strategic Execution Office. As a critical position within the Strategy, Data & Analytics team—part of the Commercial shared services organization—you will play a central role in driving the successful execution of strategic initiatives that fuel growth for our portfolio of brands.

This position will partner with many stakeholders across the organization to achieve key priorities and actively manage a portfolio of initiatives across the enterprise, responsible for overseeing initiative intake, triage, prioritization, performance tracking, and post-implementation value realization. You’ll work closely with brand and enterprise leadershipFinanceTechnology, and function-specific PMOs to build the governance, tools, and routines that ensure our most important work delivers maximum business impact.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Leadership & Strategic Alignment
  • Support the setup and maintenance of the enterprise-wide portfolio of strategic initiatives.
  • Maintain an enterprise-wide view of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment to brand and enterprise-level priorities.
  • Facilitate cross-functional prioritization efforts, helping leaders make smart trade-offs based on value, feasibility, and resource constraints.

Governance & Ways of Working

  • Operationalize new ways of working, including the intake, triage, prioritization, and capital funding approval processes for all enterprise-level strategic projects.
  • Roll out standard templates, scorecards, and evaluation tools for business case development and initiative sizing.
  • Work with Finance and Technology leaders to embed project rigor, cross-functional accountability, and transparent funding decisions.

Performance Tracking & Value Realization

  • Design and manage an initiative tracking system and dashboard that captures progress, milestones, resource needs, and KPIs across all strategic workstreams.
  • Collaborate with initiative owners to ensure projects are launched with clear business cases and conduct post-implementation reviews to capture realized value.
  • Maintain dashboards and reporting cadences to provide leadership with regular visibility into initiative progress and overall portfolio health.

Cross-Functional Partnership & Communication

  • Act as a connector across brands, shared services, and functional PMOs to ensure projects are resourced, aligned, and tracked effectively.
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to senior leadership, surfacing risks, interdependencies, and opportunities for improved execution.
  • Provide tactical support to project leads and initiative owners on project setup, documentation, and reporting.
  • Lead regular communication with Commercial leadership, the Strategy & Strategic Execution team, and enterprise governance bodies.

People Management

  • Manage and develop a small team of project/program managers supporting key strategic initiatives.
  • Align team resources to initiative priorities, ensuring high-quality execution and delivery.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and support to build project management capabilities and effectiveness

Qualification & Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in portfolio management, enterprise PMO leadership, strategic execution, or transformation roles.
  • Proven ability to build governance models, manage complex project portfolios, and partner with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong business, analytical, and financial acumen; capable of evaluating business cases and financial modeling and driving value-based prioritization.
  • Experience with tools such as Smartsheet, Asana, Microsoft Project, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Background in cross-functional environments with shared service models (e.g., Finance, IT, Commercial, Strategy).
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and influence skills across all organizational levels.
  • MBA, PMP, or similar certifications are a plus.
