As Senior Manager of UX Design, you’ll report directly to the Head of UX Design and Research at Amazon FinTech, leading a team of talented designers in creating innovative financial products that serve Amazon Financials and Global Business Services.

The FinTech UX Design & Research Team is seeking a customer-obsessed Senior Manager of UX Design to spearhead our efforts in creating exceptional end-to-end customer experiences. As the driving force behind Amazon Financials’ future user experiences, you’ll combine strategic thinking with hands-on leadership to inspire and guide our team. The ideal candidate thrives on solving complex problems at scale, bringing both clarity and empathy to their leadership style. You should excel in large organizational settings, leveraging your proven track record of collaboration and strategic thinking. • Think big, framing designs in the context of the broader customer experience, and are equally comfortable diving deep into the details
  • Present design work to stakeholders, customers, and executive leadership for review, feedback, and sign-off
  • Prioritize effectively, use data to inform your decisions, weigh the impact and tradeoffs of decisions, and seek input where needed to drive alignment
  • Work closely with product, engineering, and business partners to develop a shared vision and lead a process to define and design experiences that deliver on those shared objectives
  • Comfortable navigating from ambiguity to clarity, drawing upon your expertise and design process to create structure.
  • Proactively plan ahead, look around corners, and can see the next step (even when it doesn’t exist yet)
  • Develop processes that drive quality and efficiency to help designers accomplish more than what they could otherwise
