Description
The purpose of the Shared Services Manager role is to lead the centralized delivery of support services such as Finance, HR, IT, Procurement, and Administration across the organization. The role is responsible for ensuring standardized, efficient, and high-quality service delivery that meets business needs, supports strategic goals, and promotes operational excellence. The manager will focus on improving service performance, optimizing resources, and driving continuous improvement within the shared services model.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Shared Services team, ensuring the effective delivery of services in areas such as HR, IT, Procurement, and Admin.
- Develop and maintain service level agreements (SLAs) and performance metrics to monitor quality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with functional leaders to ensure alignment of shared services with business needs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality, cost-effectiveness, and efficiency of shared services operations.
- Manage budgets and optimize resource allocation across shared services functions.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Develop and implement standardized processes and procedures across the shared services organization.
- Lead change management initiatives to support transitions to shared services models.
- Monitor technology trends and recommend tools or platforms that enhance shared services capabilities.
- Provide regular performance reports to senior leadership.
Qualification & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, HR, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in shared services, operations, or business process management
- Strong understanding of shared services models, service delivery frameworks, and performance management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive process improvements.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
