Description

As the Shared Services Department Head, you are responsible in giving assistance to the Division Head in carrying out the administrative tasks in the Division.

You will supervise and monitor the non-lawyer personnel as well as provide overall support operation of the Legal Division.

Department Head for Shared Services (Legal Division)

Key Responsibilities

  • Checks/reviews the completeness and correctness of registered documents/titles of foreclosed and dacioned properties
  • Recommends training and development activities for the non-legal staff
  • Assists/supervises the preparation of the annual operating expense budget/targets of the division and the necessary presentation materials for the Budget Review in coordination with the budget officer
  • Reviews the actual monthly operating expense/ MPR of the division and explains the variances
  • Makes representation with Government Agencies in the course of providing legal assistance to the Bank (i.e. BIR, RD, LRA)
  • Performs administrative tasks as follows:
  • Monitors and evaluates the individual performance, prepares the Performance Appraisal Report of the Department’s non-lawyer personnel in collaboration with supervising lawyers.
  • Checks/reviews monthly accomplishment reports on all activities of the Division for management information.
  • Monitors, screens, approves expenses and cash advances of the Division
  • Assists the Division Head in monitoring the accomplishment of the Division’s KRA’s. Coordinate with RMD and PMD in the attainment of the Division’s joint KRA’s with said units.
  • Assists the Division Head in establishing new policies and guidelines and ensure the strict implementation of the same.
  • Other related tasks which may be assigned from time to time

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 7 years of experience, preferably with experience to Legal and banking matters
  • Knowledgeable on people management and the legal industry in relation to corporate/banking affairs
  • Strong analytical and leadership skills
  • Above average written and oral communication skills
