Description
A leading global retailer is seeking a strategic transformation leader to drive the global evolution of its HR Services function.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will modernize HR processes, implement enabling technologies, and establish a scalable, data-driven, and employee-centric operating model across multiple countries.
Qualification & Requirements
Experience & Expertise
- 10+ years of experience leading large-scale HR or shared services transformation programs (>€20M)
- Deep knowledge of HR processes (hire-to-retire, payroll, case management)
- Strong technical understanding of HR systems, data architecture, and cybersecurity
- Familiarity with change and program management methodologies (Agile, Prince2, PROSCI)
Strategic & Operational Leadership
- Ability to design and execute multi-year digital HR strategies
- Proven track record in managing complex programs from concept to adoption
- Skilled in leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with IT, HR, Finance, and external partners
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent communication skills: able to translate complex ideas into clear, actionable messages
- Strong analytical mindset: builds business cases, tracks ROI/NPV, and makes data-driven decisions
- Inspirational leadership and change management capabilities
- Digital intelligence: balances user experience, technology, and compliance
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience in international, high-volume environments (e.g. retail)
- Demonstrated leadership in transformation programs
- Technical affinity with HR IT systems and digital tools (e.g. self-service portals, AI tools)
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
