Description
As AVIA SSC manager, you are responsible for managing and coordinating the core tasks within the SSC. You ensure efficient and effective implementation of the joint purchasing and logistics, act as a knowledge center for the members, and facilitate more intensive cooperation on strategic themes such as HBE tickets and ETS2 requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Purchasing of (bio) fuels and HBEs. You develop and implement joint purchasing strategies, maintain relationships with suppliers and traders and conduct negotiations.
- Purchasing planning and logistics. You coordinate the joint planning, ensure optimization of the transport flows and work together with our carriers and planner.
- Knowledge centre. You advise members on Biofuels, ETS2 (Emission Trading System) and product quality. You are an expert in the field of sustainability and regulations. You represent SSC members in various external platforms, ministries and project groups.
- Collaboration and strategic development. You stimulate and facilitate collaboration between members and coordinate the use of the three fuel terminals.
- Stakeholder management. You will actively contribute to the further development and maintenance of relationships with the management of the four members and report on the progress and challenges of the SSC.
Qualification & Requirements
- A completed HBO or WO education in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics or a similar field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in purchasing, logistics or Supply Chain Management, preferably within the fuel or energy sector.
- In-depth knowledge of the fuel market, including biofuels and HBEs and familiarity with ETS2 regulations and sustainability requirements.
- Experience with stakeholder management and collaboration in a complex environment.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Strategic and analytical thinking skills.
- Leadership skills and experience in managing teams.
- Results-oriented and eager to learn.
