The Vice President, Business Transformation will lead strategic transformation initiatives across Harrington to accelerate growth and drive commercial and operational excellence. This executive-level role reporting to the CEO is critical to spearheading high-impact organizational change. The ideal candidate is a seasoned transformation leader with deep industry expertise, strong cross-functional leadership, and a track record of delivering results in complex environments.

Vice President, Business Transformation

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Transformation Leadership

  • Design and lead enterprise-wide transformation strategies that align with Harrington’s business objectives and growth trajectory.
  • Collaborate closely with executive leadership to define strategic priorities, value drivers, and key success metrics.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Enterprise Program Management

  • Oversee the planning and execution of transformation initiatives across all business units.
  • Develop and govern detailed project plans alongside functional leaders, ensuring milestones and deliverables are achieved at a pace.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess progress and outcomes of transformation efforts.
  • Establish and maintain a governance framework to monitor progress, escalate issues, and report to executive stakeholders.
  • Use data and analytics to inform decisions and drive financial accountability.

Change Management & Communication

  • Collaborate with HR to lead transformation change management efforts to ensure employee engagement, retention, and adoption of new ways of working.
  • Communicate a compelling vision that motivates and aligns employees across all levels of the organization.
  • Act as the face of transformation, providing regular updates to the executive team, board of directors, employees, and external stakeholders.
  • Deliver executive-level presentations, reports, and performance insights.

Qualification & Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field required; MBA or advanced degree is strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in business transformation or enterprise program management.
  • Deep industry experience in industrial distribution, supply chain, or service-based organizations.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, high-visibility initiatives at scale in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments.
  • PMP or equivalent certification preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Visionary leadership with a strategic mindset and hands-on execution capabilities.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting, forecasting, and ROI analysis.
  • Expertise in change management methodologies, transformation frameworks, and integration models.
  • Ability to inspire, influence, and lead cross-functional teams through ambiguity and change.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance considerations in distribution and industrial services sectors.
  • Experience scaling transformation functions in private equity-backed or rapidly growing organizations.
