Description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Capability to lead our Engineering Analysis horizontal function. As the Head of Capability EA, you will be responsible for driving all growth initiatives for the EA function, working closely with Sales and front line VBU leadership across all Verticals. In this role, you will also have engineers reporting to you in a matrix organization.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in an engineering environment related to Engineering Analysis, either in an engineering services company or an OEM related to Aerospace, Energy, or Transportation verticals. From Quest Global perspective, Engineering Analysis covers wide range of simulations starting from 1D to 3D simulations of structures, fluid flows, heat transfer etc. You will be the key representative of Quest Global in discussions with customers regarding Engineering Analysis and aligned technology-related discussions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead discussions with customers to represent Quest Global on Engineering Analysis and aligned technology-related discussions.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their engineering needs and develop tailored solutions.
- Partner with front line business leadership to articulate how Quest Global can enable customers to achieve their business goals.
- Assess current Quest Global capabilities, devise and execute plans to improve those capabilities to be the best in the industry.
- Hire and nurture key technical expertise within the field.
- Develop proficiency improvement plans for the engineering analysis teams and track progress.
- Stay continuously updated on the latest emerging trends in technology and industry in general.
- Work closely with Quest Global‘s technology partners to introduce new trends internally as well as to customers.
- Drive an innovative mindset within the organization by encouraging technical teams to develop accelerators and solutions.
- Work with the NBD teams to develop Proof of Concepts.
- Appreciation of Digital Technologies and understand how Industrial Digital can help in discovering new areas of simulation.
- Hire and train graduate engineers and maintain a competitive cost structure for the EA skill cluster.
Qualification & Requirements
Required skills (Technical competencies)
- Btech, Mtech from a reputed institution.
- 15+ years of experience in relevant fields, hands on experience in engineering analysis
- At least 5 years of experience in a technical sales role.
- Experience in publishing white papers, LinkedIn articles in relevant fields.
- Experience in balancing technical and commercial needs (50-50) in day-to-day functioning.
- Experience of continuous learning.
