Description

Are you passionate about driving innovation and delivering impactful product solutions? We are seeking a Director of Business Capability to lead product capability and delivery in Credit. This role collaborates with senior leadership, internal customers, and district associations to develop and execute product roadmaps, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and ensure the successful deployment of core capabilities and transactional systems.

As a key member of the Business Capabilities team, you’ll report to the Senior Director of Business Capability and play a pivotal role in integrating product management within established SCRM and AGILE frameworks.

Director Business Capability – Credit

Key Responsibilities

Develop and Maintain Product Vision and Roadmaps

  • Establish and communicate the product vision and roadmap for your assigned area.
  • Evaluate and prioritize the business value of features to deliver impactful solutions.
  • Collaborate with business partners to define requirements and develop functional designs.

Lead Product Execution and Delivery

  • Translate roadmaps into detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.
  • Drive execution from project planning to product launch and ongoing support.
  • Monitor product key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure success metrics are achieved.

Manage Teams and Foster Collaboration

  • Lead Product Owners and business analysts within your assigned area.
  • Act as a Product Owner as needed to execute product strategies.
  • Build interdisciplinary teams to deliver customer value and achieve organizational objectives.

Strategic Collaboration and Reporting

  • Partner with internal customers, district associations, and stakeholders to gather insights and inform product strategy.
  • Facilitate future-state process mapping, journey mapping, and business architecture.
  • Report on strategic relationships and product outcomes to the Senior Director.

Drive Innovation and Stay Ahead of Trends

  • Use analytics and emerging market trends to refine product strategies.
  • Maintain open communication channels to capture the voice of the customer and market intelligence.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (MBA or Master’s preferred).
  • 8+ years’ experience in software development or project/product management.
  • Financial Services industry management experience is required.
  • Strong business acumen with expertise in full cycle product management.
  • Advanced communication and collaboration skills to build effective, interdisciplinary teams.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to execute senior management roadmaps.
  • Deep knowledge of the financial industry, competitive landscapes, and emerging trends.
  • Creative problem-solving skills to drive innovation and overcome challenges.

Nice to Have:

  • Certifications in product management, project management, or related fields.
  • Experience with emerging technologies and digital transformation initiatives.
