Software Development Engineer – Seller Pricing & Shared Services

Key Responsibilities

You will design, launch, and re-architect multi-tier systems with large amounts of data. You will use object-oriented concepts, algorithms and data structures to build systems at Amazon scale. You will quickly adapt to new environments and use creativity to solve difficult problems in a world-class engineering team.

  • You will lead major transition in our Pricing applications to promote items with good price to customers.
  • You will develop scalable tools for pricing optimization.

Qualification & Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
  • 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
