Description

HEINEKEN is continuously improving its ability to make operational decisions for product introductions, supply chain changes and to manage profitability. To ensure that decisions are taken on a qualitative and consistent set of data we are growing our global data management capabilities. Global Master Data Services Lead reports to Head of Operational Data Services. The Global Master Data Services Lead oversees a team of global Data Administrators and Analysts and is responsible for the execution of processes related to the creation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of master data to ensure optimal execution of business processes and reporting accuracy.

Additionally, they contribute to the overall management and quality control of master data. This team collaborates with HEINEKEN functions including Global Marketing, Global Sales, Global Supply Chain, Global Finance, and HEINEKEN’s Operating Companies to create, maintain, and continuously improve master data, ensuring optimal execution of business processes and reporting accuracy. With the increasing seniority of the role the focus is moving towards e2e service optimization utilizing newest technical trends and technologies as well as shaping and maturing service framework to best serve evolving business needs.

Global Master Data Services Lead

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading by example and actively managing performance and development of teams and individuals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities
  • Coaching and supporting direct reports on topics such as PDP and career planning
  • Fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategies
  • Overseeing recruitment, onboarding, holiday planning, and timesheet management to ensure efficient processes and accurate records
  • Managing day-to-day activities, service level performance and reports
  • Establishing and implementing all MDM processes, roles, governance, and resources
  • Acting as the first point of contact for data-related issues and coordinate escalations to ensure timely resolution and improved data quality
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance data management efficiency and effectiveness
  • Overseeing the implementation and adherence to data standards, policies, and procedures to ensure data consistency and accuracy
  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing updates on data management initiatives and performance
  • Setting the direction and priorities for the team, ensuring alignment with global and operational strategies
  • Building influencing networks in large complex multinational environment
  • Developing and execute plans to enhance team’s capabilities and support business objectives
  • Serving as the representative of the team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Acting as the voice of the team in meetings and discussions, advocating for the team’s needs and priorities
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline data management processes and ensure seamless integration with other business functions
  • Ensuring data quality across the organization, enabling seamless data flow, supporting end-to-end business processes, and driving agile decision-making
  • Managing and mitigating the impact of changes on people and the organization using the HEINEKEN Change Management Model, aligning people to the vision through buy-in, communication, motivation, and inspiration and building resilience by managing uncertainty and adopting an adaptive mindset.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably Data Management, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Min. 5 years of proven experience in master data management, data governance, or a related role
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Experience with reviewing, conducting data analysis
  • Very good knowledge of MS office
  • Able to establish credibility across business and IT and able to get involved and participate in data management projects
  • Able to translate Business requirements into the Data Solution
  • Experience of operating in large corporations is preferred
  • Strong advocate for Data Management
  • Firm understanding of data, data flows and processes
  • Knowledge in a deep Business Domains (Commerce, Supply Chain, Finance) is a plus
  • Knowledge of data management tools and technologies, such as SAP, Collibra, and MDM tools is a plus.
