Senior Manager SAP Order to Cash

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Order-to-Cash team within the Business Applications department
  • Ensure the administration, development, and continuous improvement of the ERP system in the Order-to-Cash domain
  • Provide reliable support for the ERP system landscape, including the implementation of system optimizations and configuration-based adjustments
  • Create functional requirement documents and review/approve technical design specifications
  • Manage the development and integration of external tools with a focus on Order-to-Cash processes
  • Design and implement interfaces, including the integration of customs clearance systems into the ERP
  • Drive team and talent development, establish clear roles and responsibilities, and support the key user training concept
  • Analyze business processes and develop solutions for complex challenges in the Order-to-Cash environment
  • Support all value-adding processes to enable efficient workflows and foster the development of a modern, agile organization
  • Collaborate with business departments to gather requirements and define enhancements for systems and organizational processes
  • Lead or participate in IT and organizational (sub-)projects
  • Define, commission, monitor, and approve work packages from external service providers
  • Ensure user support and provide continuous training for internal stakeholders
  • Commit to ongoing self-directed learning and professional development

Qualification & Requirements

  • Degree in IT engineering, business informatics, economics, or a comparable qualification (e.g., completed commercial apprenticeship with relevant professional experience)
  • At least 10 years of professional experience in Direct Sales and Order-to-Cash processes using SAP ERP systems (experience with SAP EWM is a plus)
  • Proven leadership experience, ideally as a team lead or project manager in a business applications or IT environment
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP ERP systems, particularly in SD (Sales & Distribution) and MM (Materials Management) modules
  • Strong understanding of sales operations and outbound supply chain processes
  • Solid experience in managing and executing cross-functional projects
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Sound business acumen and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; German is a strong asset
  • Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset
  • Highly motivated, self-driven, and eager to continuously learn and improve
  • Strong interest in process optimization and problem solving
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive, hands-on attitude and a “can-do” mindset
