Description

Key Responsibilities
The Financial Controller will be based at the Atlantis resort in Dumaguete, Negros Oriental, Philippines. This role supports the Chief Operating Officer (COO) in overseeing the financial health of the company by managing financial planning, reporting, and compliance. The Financial Controller plays a key role in ensuring accurate financial operations, implementing sound financial controls, and providing strategic financial insights to drive business growth and sustainability.
Qualification & Requirements
Education
- College degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related courses
- CPA or other relevant certifications (preferred but not required)
Experience
- Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting, finance, or administration
- At least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role within a finance team
- Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) and SOS Inventory systems
- Solid knowledge of taxation, statutory reporting, and regulatory compliance in the Philippines
Knowledge & Skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent time management
- Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Sound judgment in financial decision-making
- Proficient in Google Workspace, QBO, and SOS Inventory
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines
