Description
The COO position provides the leadership and management necessary to ensure that the company has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems in place to effectively grow the organization and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency. Evaluate and deploy strategies that promotes competition within the sales organization while protecting valuable company content from competitors. Responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of all processes internal and external. Provides timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the company.
The position accomplishes this through a respectful, constructive, and energetic style that complements the founders and other members of the leadership team and is guided by the business and financial objectives of ~Pourri.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the main office located in Addison, TX.
- Plan and directs all aspects of the Company’s operational policies, objectives, and initiatives.
- Interact regularly with individual department heads to ensure that the company’s operational priorities are aligned with total company direction
- Ensure that all department heads maintain documentation requirements to support manufacturing, supply chain and field service processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving multiple departments
- Create and disseminate policies and procedures to all employees.
- Active involvement in new Customer or Partner set up to include business agreements, pricing, processing procedures and implementation timelines
- Partners with Executive Team to identify opportunities for process improvement. Facilitates successful implementation of new programs through the organization by ensuring a well-defined, efficient sales and Operations processes is in place for launch. Fosters an organization of continuous process improvement.
- Embody and nurture an entrepreneurial approach to operational growth, driven by Agile principles and the development of autonomous teams
- Establish and maintain metrics consistent with the company’s business objectives for innovation, quality and delivery
- Continually investigates and introduces process improvement measures and presents suggestions to the CEO and CFO for consideration.
- Hires, trains, inspires people of top character, ability and motivation
- Sets stretch objectives with team to outperform for customers
- Apply an action-oriented, entrepreneurial, flexible, innovative approach to operations management.

Qualification & Requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Requires at least 10 years of experience in the CPG industry.
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, supply chain management or related experience; MBA preferred.
- 15+ years of Supply Chain/Operational experience
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as Chief Operations Officer.
- Proven experience leading a team of 10 or more direct reports.
- 10+ years executive P&L management
- Track record of positive customer account relationships
- Knowledge of industry’s legal rules and guidelines
- Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
