Finance Shared Service Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead / Build a capable SSC team that is functionally capable and fully understand the principles of working in a Shared Service environment
• Provide support to the team to enable do their job properly including staff morale and good working conditions
• Build plans to ensure staff retention of capable staff
• Deploy the comapnies Operation Model and ensure full compliance
• Ensure that all our processes are fully aligned for all agencies and that there are no deviations
• Ensure that the staff masters D365 in their own function and always strive for continuous improvement
• Comply with policies and deadlines while being fully compliant with local statutory laws
• Build and maintain excellent working relationship with our agencies management especially finance teams
• Establish regular meetings with agencies to build, review and follow up on improvement plans

Qualification & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting. Qualified accountant degree will be a definite plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluent in Dutch and in English – spoken and written
• Ability to work with time lines and excellent delivery
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a large finance department especially in the General Ledger and reporting area, preferably in an international company
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while dealing with high levels of ambiguity
• Proven capability working with, presenting to and influencing senior executives
• Strong, creative, problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Knowledge of Microsoft D365 F&O will be a definite plus [and/or major ERP platforms]
