As Shared Services Finance Director, you’ll shape the strategy, structure, and future of a global finance operation. From end-to-end process leadership to transformation and optimisation – this is about delivering excellence, not just oversight.

Global Shared Services Finance Director

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the global Finance Shared Services centre across P2P, O2C, Intercompany, R2R, Capital Accounting, Cash, and Payroll.
  • Shape and execute the strategic roadmap for shared services, aligned to business goals and global standards.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team – fostering innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Deliver operational excellence, championing transformation, automation, and process efficiency.
  • Be a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders across Finance, Technology, and Operations.
  • Ensure strong controls, audit readiness, and compliance with all internal policies and external regulations.
  • Embed KPI/ SLA metrics – using insights to improve performance and unlock further gains.
  • Manage the shared services budget, delivering world-class service in a cost-effective manner.
  • Support wider finance transformation, policy changes, and system migrations as needed.
  • Represent the shared services finance team at leadership forums and senior stakeholder meetings.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Qualified Accountant with experience in large-scale finance operations.
  • Track record of leading global or regional shared service teams.
  • Passion for process, transformation, and operational finance.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Comfortable navigating complexity and delivering in high-growth environments.
