Senior Manager, PR & External Communications

Key Responsibilities

• Leading external communications strategy for Conduent’s Commercial business, including industries such as customer experience, finance and accounting, healthcare, digital solutions, and human capital management
• Developing and executing PR and media outreach plans that align with corporate communication goals
• Managing issues and crisis communications in coordination with legal, business and IT teams
• Drafting press releases, media pitches, blog posts, and client communications
• Identifying and pursuing media opportunities while building and maintaining relationships with key journalists and outlets
• Positioning Conduent’s leadership team as industry thought leaders by securing speaking engagements and bylined content
• Responding to and managing reactive PR issues in coordination with legal and business teams
• Collaborating cross-functionally with internal communications, marketing, and digital teams to support larger initiatives
• Measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of external communication campaigns

Qualification & Requirements

• Hold a bachelor’s degree
• Bring 8+ years of public relations or communications experience; corporate and/or agency background welcome
• Demonstrate proven success in media relations, digital communications, and executive visibility programs
• Communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats
• Simplify complex topics for broad external audiences
• Apply knowledge of transportation, public sector, or technology-led services (preferred)
• Manage multiple projects independently and deliver measurable results
