Description

The Site HR Director for Global Business Services (GBS) leads the design and execution of HR strategies that enable business growth, transformation, and a high-performing culture. As a strategic partner to site leadership, the role oversees talent acquisition, development, performance, and employee engagement, while ensuring compliance with labor laws. The role also drives continuous improvement in HR processes to enhance efficiency, employee experience, and organizational impact.

Key Responsibilities

HR Leadership & Organizational Strategy

  • Lead the development and execution of HR strategies that directly support the site’s growth, transformation, and performance objectives.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the site leadership team, aligning talent priorities with business goals.
  • Embed and evolve the company’s culture by championing its values, driving engagement, and modeling inclusive leadership.
  • Translate conglomerate HR priorities into site-specific action plans.

Talent Strategy & Organizational Capability

  • Strengthen the site’s Employer Brand in alignment with the Employee Value Proposition to attract high-quality talent in a competitive services environment.
  • Lead the end-to-end talent lifecycle—recruitment, onboarding, learning & development, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Lead regular reviews of compensation structures and benefits to ensure market competitiveness and support talent attraction and retention
  • Enable leaders through coaching and capability-building programs to grow high-performing, future-ready teams.
  • Leverage HCM systems to ensure consistency, efficiency, and scalability in talent processes.

Culture, Engagement & Change Leadership

  • Drive transformation initiatives by building change readiness, engagement, and continuous communication strategies.
  • Partner with business leaders to shape a high-trust, growth-oriented culture.
  • Design and implement recognition and reward programs that reflect business impact and cultural alignment.
  • Promote psychological safety, employee voice, and a culture of feedback and learning.

Employee Experience & Operations

  • Act as the employee champion, ensuring a positive and seamless experience throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Resolve employee relations issues with a focus on fairness, compliance, and organizational values.
  • Lead data-driven initiatives to improve retention, employee satisfaction, and productivity.
  • Oversee HR operations, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with Philippine labor laws and alignment with company standards.

HR Analytics & Workforce Planning

  • Utilize HCM to generate workforce insights that inform decision-making, drive productivity, and support strategic workforce planning.
  • Regularly review HR metrics (turnover, time-to-fill, engagement scores, etc.) and report actionable insights to site and corporate leadership.

Inclusion, Diversity & Belonging

  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion by designing and implementing inclusive hiring practices, leadership accountability mechanisms, and employee resource initiatives.
  • Build a workplace culture where every individual feels valued, respected, and able to contribute fully.

Qualification & Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred
  • 15+ years in progressive HR roles, with at least 5 years in an HR leadership role in a shared services, IT, GBS, or Corporate back-office environments.
  • Track record of leading organizational transformation or scaling HR operations during a growth phase with high acumen in HR-related market trends
  • Deep understanding of Philippine labor law, ideally with regional exposure.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills
